1) I'm currently growing my hair out and it is pissing me off on sooooo many levels that I feel a rage quit coming on...

3) I am currently revamping my Naruto 6 tails cosplay. You know, adding those extra two tails and the rest of the paint, all that crap so I can enter it into the Hamilton Armageddon 2014 Cosplay Comp!!!
4) I AM and WILL marry Benedict Cumberbatch and we are going to have a FLEET of ginger babies.

6) My belly is so white that it reflects moonlight. People have witnessed this, I'm not making it up.
7) I have to cut my fingernails right back otherwise I scratch the skin right off my body in my sleep... TMI??? Na, you're cool with know that.....

THE QUESTIONS OF TRUTH:
1) What was your favourite subject at school (if you're still at school, what is your favourite subject)?
My favourite subject was Art and Classical Studies. I actually sucked at Soft Tech(sewing) something major, which is funny considering I now cosplay, lol.
2) Can you sing the national anthem of your country without looking up the words first?
I'm pretty sure I know the English part of New Zealand's national anthem and most of the Maori. I may mumble some of the Maori words when I forget them, lol.
3) If you wanted to change your name (either first or last), what name would you take?
I'd change my last name to Cumberbatch, for obvious reasons. And I kind of which my parents had named me Dallan, even though it's a boys name. Then again, Courtney is a boys name too.....
4) Have you watched a Disney movie after turning 18?
FUCK YES!!!! I watch Disney all the time whenever I'm sick. Disney is the best medicine!!!
5) When was the last time you climbed a tree?
Fuck... I got no idea. Probably not in a couple of years, I should really get round to that...
6) Summer or winter?
WINTER. Everything is dead in winter and I don't have to worry about allergies, lmao. That and I get to wear all of my really cute jumpers!!!
7) What is the most exotic/unusual food you've ever eaten?
Calamari... which isn't very exotic and says a lot about my palate, lmfao.
8) Ever tried an extreme sport? (Define 'extreme sport' as you will)
Storming the Heights, which is extreme when I play it because I'm fucking ruthless at it, hahaha. And The Animal Survival Game, which was extreme because of the two times I played it one was on it's own little swampy muddy island specifically there for the game and no other reason, and the other was in a bush reserve and had vines going everywhere to trip you up and tangle yourself in, lmao. But I also used to rockclimb if you want a more serious answer.
9) What is the one food you like so much it's addicting? No, coffee doesn't count. It is a drink u_u

10) What is your dream holiday location?
It always used to be Japan, but now I'm going to say Scotland. I've REALLY got in tough with my Scottish roots lately and just want to wrap myself up in the country, hahaha.

Important Update
Due to very poor health Michael and I will not be going to Auckland Armageddon as Ryuk and Rem. I'm sorry to all of those that were looking forward to seeing the cosplays, but I am too unwell at this moment to be making two big cosplays and trying to organise somebody who had a very busy schedule and lives over two and half hours away, lol.
But I still wanted to make something exciting for Auckgeddon that wasn't so full on, so I decided on making the Naruto 6 Tails release form. The one where he's all half Kyuubi and is wearing a fox skeleton as some sort of armor. I like it a lot and it had been a dream cosplay of mine for some time now. I still have to work out it I want to stuff the tails and have clear stings conecting the tips to my shoulders so they stand and swing about or if I should gutt my Soushi tails and take the main frame out of that and put it in this. I don't think I will though just because the base of the Soushi tails are so thick and the belts that will hold them to my body will be very clearly seen through the tight material of the body suit part of Naruto's 6 Tails release form. Plus, If I accidently knock into somebody again the tails will be soft with stuffing and not hard with chicken wire, lmao. Right! It's been decided!!! Stuffed tails it is!!! But here, have a look at the fox skull so far
So if I am going to see you at Auckgeddon this year then look out for a Naruto 6 Tails!! I'd love a photo with you!! And for those who I won't be seeing at Auckgeddon, I'll have lots of photos afterwards to upload, both from the convention and at an actual photoshoot 
I still plan on finishing Ryuk and Rem, but not any time soon sorry.
General Update
Yo Yo!! Been a while.
So, First thing is first. :devPersonified-Insanity: and I entered the Hamilton Armageddon 2013 Group Contest and... WE WON!!! We also entered in our skit, WHICH WE ALSO WON!!!!! *cough*weweretheonlycontestantsineachcatagory,butshhhh,itstillcounts*cough* Here is the youtube like to our skit! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNJXz7… It is a modified tango that we made to fit Ririchiyo's and Soushi's relationship from the anime InuxBoku SS. At some point we will get our butts in action and do a proper recording and make it look all fancy and stuff.

In other news, I have done shit all in regards to updating my other cosplays, because... I've got no excuse. I'm just being lazy.
I'm getting Michael, (this guy here if you have forgotten him --->
) to come down to where I live, or I go up to where he lives to work on Rem and Ryuk. Both of which, and being total bitches in their own right. Rem is more construction based, so requires a lot more processes to making the pieces, Michael is an amazing (butsoveryslow) paper macher so does all of the paper mache required. I'm not going to touch any of the paper mache because I don't like it, lol. Ryuk is more sewing based, And I am going to be doing the most of that, but Ryuk has a butt tonne of jewellery and the like, so Michael Will be doing ALL of that too. It's hard trying to find a balance of splitting the work load, but I'm sure I can make it work. Now that I think about it, I am going to be making a lot of Michael's costume, and he is going to be making a lot of mine, lol. Should be thoroughly amusing, haha. I'm trying to recreate Rem and Ryuk as realistically as I can with our own personalized touches (Ryuk is gunna have barbed wire weaving through him EVERYWHERE), so it will be a lot of work, and I just hope I can get it all done in time to a satisfactory degree. I know we can get it done on time, we just have to get our butt's moving, lol.
Oh! And at some point I'll get round to a Kiba cosplay from Naruto Shiupuuden. It will be him all beaten up and bloody though MWAHAHAHA!!!!
Once I have some decent progress shots, I'll take photos and post them on here for your viewing pleasure. I'll give handy tips and tricks that I've come across, and quite possibly beg you for help if I get stuck on something, lol.

Very Awesome Points Reward System!!!
But it would be unfair of me to just take your points and give you nothing in return, so I worked out a cool little rewards system:
-Donations over 10 points can get me posing as a character in any way you want (PG13 of course, lol). Casual poses, action poses, OOC poses, you name it I tell you if I can do it, lol
.-Donations over 20 points can get me posing as a character with kanji of your choice marked on my body like this cosplayfromskratch.deviantart.… . I won't do obviously rude kanji or things that can be considered ver offensive, but otherwise, you pick and I'll let you know if it's acceotable.
-Donations over 30 points will get you a PG15 version of a character (suggestive poses but nothing too risque). Keep in mind that I'm a chick, so if you want a photo of a guy in nothing but his bathing suit, it ain't gunna work lol. Suggest away and I'll let you know if your just being a giant perve or if what you suggest is fine.
-(And the big one!) Donations over 500 will get you a personal video with whatever character I have in stock to your favourite opening/closing song from any anime. This is a big one, so I'll only be able to do the 1 minute and 30 second version of the theme song. You get to pick what I'll be doing in the video, or you can just leave it up to me. But for 500 points you might as well make lots of requests lol. (PG13, no negotiations).
-If you donate something 40 points or higher you can get a combination of the 10, 20, and 30 packages that you wish.
I HAVE THE FINAL SAY IN WHAT PICTURES/VIDEOS I WILL AND WLL NOT TAKE/MAKE. IF I SAY NO TO EVERYTHING YOU SUGGEST YOU CAN ASK TO HAVE YOUR POINTS BACK. ONCE THE PHOTO IS TAKEN AND POSTED YOU CANNOT GET A REFUND, SORRY.
So each of these options currently comes with the choice of:
-Sabaku no Gaara in his "Naruto Shippuden' form. Gourd included, lol
-fem!Gaara (in casual wear or in the Shippuden outfit (unzipped to show some cleavage, lol))
-or a casual wear Gaara
It won't alway justs be Gaara depending on what my current hairstyle/cosplay stock permits lol. I'll give you the list of available characters when I contact you. Ichigo won't be available because my hair is currently red, not orange lol. You can pick other characters as well that have short red hair, like a casual Otoya Ittoki from 'Uta no Prince-sama'. Things that are simple that just require me to wear casual clothing of your favourite red heads, lol. Get creative and ask for a gender bent Shana from 'Shakugan no Shana' or a male!Kushina from the 'Naruto' series. If somebody has short red hair, I can organize a casual coslay of them. I might also be able to pull together a Yata Misaki from 'K Project' if you ask me really nicely, lol. I've also go the wig for Kallen from 'Code Geass', and a short bright orange wig with a fringe that has two clip on long pig tails, and a short blonder wig with a sweep over fringe that comes with two short clip on pig tails. So if any of these wigs fit a charcter of your liking, then let me know!!!
After May you also have a choice of Soushi from Inu x Boku SS in his fox spirit version!! But he takes A LOT to get ready (namely open chest binding) so there will be an extra 10 point charge if you pick him.
And lastly, Rem and Ryuk. These two won't be ready until October 2013, but you can place a pre-order now if you would like. I know a MisaMisa cosplayer who would be more than happy to jump in on the fun. Ryuk and Rem will take HOURS to prepare so you won't be able to ask for photo's of them after October. I'll let you know if I plan to get all Rem'd up or Michael feels like playing Ryuk and another pre-order will commence, but otherwise, October is your only chance to get Rem and Ryuk posing as you want them, lol.

Rem and Ryuk from Death Note
I am making everything myself with the assistance of Michael. All plans, patterns, designs and things fo such nature were made by me; what you will see is what I thought up and made happen.
It's going to be pretty costly, but only because I want to make it as epic and exact as I possibly can with such basic resources.
The contest will be held in October when Auckland Armageddon is on, so why on earth am I telling you all of this now?? I will probably only make one, maybe two more cosplays this year because all of my spare time and money is going into Ryuk and Rem, (Rem is going to put me in the poor house). And for those who like my cosplay so far won't be able to see anything but Ichigo for a long while yet lol. But for those just starting in cosplay, or those who would like to witness just how big cosplays are made, I'm going to show you. XD
In New Zealand (where I live) our cosplay community is not very big, but we are all very close to each other and beyond supportive. It's actually amazing how just a few people managed to big us all together. Our main way of staying together and communicating is through a website called Cosplay New Zealand (CNZ). I've been apart of CNZ since 2009, but haven't really been an active member until recently due to a butt load of medical problems. But I'm back (medical problems in tow) and I'm determined to be considered one of the bestiest best (probs will never happen but hey a girl can dream). A new feature CNZ has just brought about is "Sketchbooks". It's a place where you can create your own little topic and post all of your progress on all of your cosplays and stuff.
